Art In Its Second Function

The other day I was given the most amazing opportunity to participate in a art project for a fellow student. We were given the instructions to simply improv on a giant canvas with paint. It was an absolute blast. The paint had such a texture to it and it was so interesting to see how the canvas morphed from the beginning to the first group through the second group and till the end. The ending result you could see where people had dragged there fingers in the paint, or stepped, turned, slid. The premise of the piece was to use paint as a medium to sculpt.

I would love to futher this project by dancing in clothes i absolutely didn’t mind ruining and really digging into it the paint deeper and longer.
